The Mount Fuji View
The biggest reason many travelers book Hotel Mifujien is simple—the view.
On a clear morning, you can wake up to an incredible view of Mount Fuji rising above Lake Kawaguchiko. It’s one of those rare travel moments that genuinely lives up to the photos.
Watching the mountain change throughout the day—from sunrise to sunset—was one of our favorite experiences.
Traditional Japanese Meals
One of the highlights of staying at a ryokan is the food.
Hotel Mifujien offers traditional Japanese breakfasts and dinners featuring seasonal ingredients and regional specialties. Even if you’re unfamiliar with every dish, it’s part of the cultural experience and well worth trying.
Relaxing in the Onsen
After a full day exploring the Fuji Five Lakes region, the onsen was the perfect way to unwind.
Japanese hot spring baths are designed for relaxation, and soaking while surrounded by the peaceful atmosphere of the mountains added another layer to the experience.
If you’ve never visited an onsen before, staying at a ryokan like Hotel Mifujien is a wonderful introduction.
